Stonesfield Soap Company - Bumblebee monticola

Please welcome ‘Bumblebee monticola’ (Bombus monticola) more commonly known as the bilberry bumblebee; we have tried to keep the colouring of this lovely bee as close to its natural colouring as possible.

As with ‘Bumblebee lucorum’, 20% of the sale price goes directly to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust; the bilberry bumblebee is the focus of a special conservation project in Derbyshire, ‘Pollinating the Peak’,

As well as our usual lashings of olive and sunflower oils, shea and cocoa butters, we have added beautiful apricot kernel oil and given the soap a lovely citrus patchouli aroma, courtesy of sweet orange, lemongrass, cypress and patchouli essential oils.  Additionally, Bumblebee Monticola is now vegan-friendly..

Saponified olive oil and coconut oil, water, glycerine, saponified sunflower oil, saponified shea butter, coconut milk, saponified castor oil, apricot kernel oil and cocoa butter, limonene (natural component of essential oil), sweet orange, cypress, lemongrass and patchouli essential oils, sea buckthorn oil, turmeric powder, tapioca starch, sugar, kaolin clay, charcoal, mica, linalool, citral and geraniol (natural components of essential oils)

Nature-identical colours: titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, red iron oxide

Please note: as this is a handmade product there will be variations between individual bars; the product images displayed are only examples of the design although the overall theme will be the same.  Generally speaking, no two bars are exactly the same and may have slightly different dimensions owing to their hand-cut nature
